Avery- FeLV+ the Cat needs a home

Avery is a funny and smart 3 year old guy.  Despite finding himself with the odds stacked way against him, he doesn't let that get him down!  No only was Avery left alone to fend for himself, but he was left to do so being FeLV positive, which means that he has a weaker immune system than most cats.  Thankfully, Avery was found and brought to safety, and now has a fresh chance at life.  Because of his FeLV status, Avery would do best in a home without other cats or with other FeLV positive cats. 



Avery loves people and soaks up attention.  He's so eager for attention that sometimes he gets over stimulated and will try to wrestle with the hand that pets him.  He would love a family that is familiar with this behavior and that can spend time playing with him and exercising him with cat teasers and toy mice to help him satisfy all of his playful urges.
